Pygmalion

Pygmalion was engaging but unrealistic. I said engaging because I couldn’t put the book down, I keep wondering about poor Eliza. However; it was unrealistic. For me, it is hard to imaging for someone to have such difficulty to speak her own language. I would totally understand if it was her second language.
Some of our class desiccation was interesting. I was surprise to find out some people still assume if you don’t speak the English language “properly”, you must be unintelligent and uneducated. I believe if someone chooses to live in English speaking state it is that person’s responsibility to try to master the language. But to say this person is uneducated and ignorant just because his grammars and pronunciation is messed-up, I would say it is a harsh judgment.
